Whatever security system
a customer may choose to install, we can
greatly enhance its effectiveness through
central station monitoring. This means that
any alarm output from the system will be
automatically transmitted to our central
station, where it will trigger a previously
agreed programme of events. As an example,
an intruder alarm might be triggered. The
agreed action might then be to call the
local police, followed by the first available
person on the list of key holders. In this
way, the central station greatly enhances
the effectiveness and value of the customer's
system, with a real chance that thieves
will be apprehended and that damage and
losses will be cut to the bare minimum.
There are other
possibilities too:-
- Alerts can be
linked into customers CCTV systems.
Central Station staff can pass information
to the police.
- Fire alarm systems
can be linked, so central station can
call the local fire service and relevant
personnel can be informed.
- For the domestic
customer's not wishing their alarm to
be monitored permanently, central station
can monitor at agreed times during holidays,
for example.
- Panic buttons can
be monitored by the central station.
This is the surest way of knowing that
the police or other relevant people
can be called. For families, knowing
that an elderly relative has central
station instant contact can significantly
prolong personal independence.
